Life will victimize you,
but the choice to be a
victim is yours alone.
Not the pain.
Not the wound.
But the identity you build after the fall.
You can wear the scar like armor.
Or you can let it define you like a shackle.
One keeps you fighting.
The other keeps you frozen.
I’m not here to sell you sunshine or tell you “it happened for a reason.”
Screw that.
Some things are just cruel, senseless, and wrong.
But I am here to remind you:
You still get to decide what you do next.
You get to choose whether the story ends at the trauma
or whether the trauma becomes the middle of something far more dangerous—
your comeback.
So no, this isn’t a pep talk.
It’s a challenge.
You got hit.
Hard.
But you’re still breathing.
And as long as you’re breathing,
you are not done.
Keep going.
