Jim Morrison once said,
“This world is a will to power, and nothing besides.”
He was right, but not in the way he thought.
Every system out there (money, fame, politics, even spirituality) is built to make you chase power.
Power over people.
Power over truth.
Power over your own soul.
The world calls it success.
But power without purpose is poison.
Like Matthew 16:26 says,
“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”
You don’t win by playing their game better.
You win by walking away from it.
God’s Kingdom doesn’t run on power.
It runs on authority.
And authority only comes from surrender. Not control.
The world says, “Be your own god.”
The Kingdom says, “Know the One who made you.”
This world is a will to power.
But I’ve found something greater…
The will of God.
