What you neglect will eventually humble you.
What you focus on will eventually bless you.
Choose wisely.
Stack the wins.
A while back, I shifted my focus fully to faith, and I found myself walking closer with God than I ever have.
That was the foundation I needed for my next chapter.
Then, not even two months ago, I turned my attention to fitness.
And I’m down 27 pounds.
First time I’ve seen the 220s in years. Sure, it’s 229 — but I’m in motion. I’m showing up. I even rucked 2 miles yesterday with a weighted pack. And I’m proud of that.
Now?
It’s time to put that same focus on finances.
Because just like I was less than 2 months from my highest weight… right now I’m sitting at the lowest income I’ve had in probably 20+ years.
Humbling, and a place I’ve never been.
Not because I’ve failed, although some may disagree.
But because I was fixing things that were more urgent.
My spirit needed attention.
My body needed discipline.
And now, my vision needs fuel.
Look, every day I feel happy, at peace, and thoroughly blessed. Sure, I have some moments of panic being on unfamiliar ground…
But now…
It’s time to turn the dial.
It’s time to get locked in.
It’s time to shake off the ick.
I know what happens when I focus.
God moves.
I move.
And the entire Universe
shifts around me.
Because when your faith is solid, your body’s in motion, and your mind is clear… your next breakthrough isn’t a question.
It’s a matter of time.
